West-Berlin was behind the Iron Curtain – so we couldn’t travel there anytime we wanted. But now you have the perfect opportunity to taste it’s atmosphere in our cinema. The city, music, clubs where even Bowie went, Blix Bargel and behind the barpult also Nick Cave – who will show you his collection of „German goth“ in his Berlin appartment. This and much more you can see and get to know thanks to a musician and manager Mark Reed, who in the end of the 70s moved from Manchester excatly to West-Berlin. B-Movie is a collage of until now unseen amateur and television shots of wild but also creative decade- which started out with punk and ended with Love Parade. As a bonus you can enjoy also the great soundtrack: Nena, Nick Cave, WestBam, Einstürzende Neubauten and much more.
