A movie about the biggest (Czech-)Slovak legend on the poetic scene – Jozef Urban. The amusingly dramatic story about one of the biggest Slovak poets, the representative of the so-called lost generation. The author of the libretto for the King David musical and many well-known lyrics such as Vráť trochu lásky medzi nás (Money Factor), Len s ňou (Miro Žbirka), but foremostly Voda čo ma drží nad vodou (Elán). A poet who was also a human being and his own counterpart at the same time. A genius who just couldn’t cope with everyday life issues but who became a part of topics for school-leaving exams when he was still in his thirties. A person so pure like a diamond but likewise sharp at times. The movie captures the times when he entered the poetic scene but mainly the last seven years of his turbulent life. His loves, hopes, disappointments, falls and rises and fights with his inner demons. It’s reaching its peak when he finishes the lyrics for Voda čo ma drží nad vodou, it describes authentic circumstances of its origin and high hopes the author had. He never lived to see the release of the song as he tragically died in a car accident.
