Jacqueline (Athens, 1989) is a writer and director whose work revolves around unconventional family constructs, coming-of-age, intimacy and the dream. She is a London Film School graduate (Distinction, 2013), a Sarajevo (2014) and Berlinale (2015) Talents alumna. Her graduation project, Thirteen Blue, screens in several international film festivals and wins, among others, the Golden Egg Award in Reykjavik IFF and Best International Short in Athens Film&Video FF getting shortlisted for the Oscar nomination.

Her semi-feature’s, FOX, script was selected in Berlinale Short Film Station (2015). The film world premieres in Locarno (2016) winning Best International Short from Cinema&Gioventu Jury. Until now, FOX wins over 20 awards world wide including Best Short from PanHellenic Critics’ Association as well as the Award in the memory of Ingmar Bergman in Uppsala International Short Film Festival.

HIWA (2017) world premieres in Berlinale and gets listed as one of the best shorts of the year in anOthermag.com. In 2017 she is invited by Vienna Shorts as Artist in Spotlight where a retrospective of her work is held. Recently, she is invited to represent Greece in Locarno Filmmakers’ Academy, as well as in TIFF Talent Lab.

Her debut feature, ‘SELENE66’ participated in Torino Film Lab’s Script and Pitch and won the CNC development award.
