The summer of 1943. Jews within the borders of Greater Bulgaria are obliged to respect the laws of the German Reich. Two young boys - Moni and Zhozho, met 17-year-old Shelley and their friendship is put to the test, because both fall in love with the beautiful girl while outside the war rages.

The destinies of the three young people reflect the life in Bulgaria and the fates of the Balkan Jews during World War II, marked by pain of that time
