Odovzdávanie národných filmových cien Slnko v sieti sa tento rok uskutoční 9. septembra 2020, priamy prenos z odovzdávania cien môžete sledovať o 20:30 na RTVS; na Jednotke.
Slnko v sieti je filmové ocenenie, ktoré od roku 2004 udeľuje Slovenská filmová a televízna akadémia (SFTA) za najlepšie filmové diela a tvorivé počiny v oblasti domácej kinematografie. Vzhľadom na obmedzený počet každoročne produkovaných snímok v našom filmovom priemysle, boli ceny spočiatku udeľované bienálne, každý druhý rok. Pri príležitosti nultého ročníku, ktorý bol v roku 2004 spojený s poctou Jurajovi Herzovi, bola udelená iba historicky prvá národná filmová cena Slnko v sieti za výnimočný prínos slovenskej kinematografii tomuto režisérovi. Ceny v súťažných kategóriách sa odovzdávajú od roku 2006.
Keďže národné filmové ceny sa tento rok odovzdávajú už po jubilejný, desiaty raz, rozhodli sme sa vám postupne predstaviť všetkých víťazov v kategóriách najlepší hraný, dokumentárny a animovaný film. Od 10. septembra 2020 môžete v Kine Lumière každý deň vzhliadnuť jeden hraný a jeden dokumentárny film postupne od víťazného filmu z roku 2006 až po tie tohtoročné. Uvedieme tiež 2 pásma zostavené z víťazov kategórie najlepší animovaný film.

The film contemplates the coexistence of autistic children with their parents. It strives to find new ways of looking at this serious disorder of the human psyche. It debunks generally held stereotypes about this disorder and takes up parents‘ issues as well as love between people with autism. The film offers a look into the lives of people with autism while challenging generally held opinions in society about this developmental disorder. This is an unusual film about the environment in families with autistic children, which reveals the day-to-day challenge of life with them. It is not, however, built on dialogue and testimony, but on specific, naturally occurring situations in which it contemplates the issues of familial and romantic love for people with autism. The documentary was made over the course of seven years in cooperation with a nonprofit organization called the Andreas Autism Centre, which provides expert and comprehensive support to people with autism, as well as to their families. Since the arrival of the new teacher, Maria Drazdechova, to a Bratislava suburban school in the year of 1983, life has turned upside down for students and parents. The teacher's corrupted behavior and one of the students' suicide attempt that could be related to that matter, makes the school Principal call the students' parents for an urgent meeting that will suddenly put the future of all the families at stake. They are asked to sign a petition to move Miss Drazdechova out of the school. The teacher's high connections within the Communist Party makes everyone feel threatened, but at his point they have no choice but to make a decision: will they dare to go against Miss Drazdechova and stand up for what they believe in at any risk, or will they just remain silent and let things be?
