Filmový festival inakost je festivalom pre lesby, gejov, bisexuálnych, transrodových a intersexuálnych ľudí (LGBTI menšina), ich rodičov, deti a priateľov. V roku 2020 sa uskutoční už 14. ročník podujatia, od roku 2007 ho na báze ročnej periodicity organizuje Iniciatíva Inakosť.
Vzhľadom na pretrvávajúcu pandémiu ochorenia COVID-19 sme tento rok pripravili i online premietania na portáli kino-doma.sk. V termíne 20. - 25. 10. vás budú každý deň čakať doma v obývačke dva filmy s LGBTI tematikou. Súčasťou programu budú aj sprievodné podujatia: online diskusie a prezentácie.

Pak (Tai-Bo), is a seventy-year-old cab driver. Hoi (Ben Yuen) is slightly younger and already retired. Pak has a wife and two adult children. Hoi is divorced and lives with his son Wan's devoted Christian family, in a small apartment. They meet by chance, in a small park frequented by Hoi, and that one time visited by Pak.Ray Yeung's third feature opens a whole heap of topics transpassing the borders of Hong Kong. Suk Suk looks at the lives of homosexuals who lived in self-denial or even ignorance of their natural selves. It peeks into the "secret" communities and spots, ponders late-life coming out, clash/peace with religion or, on a general level, relationships and sex after 50. Obviously, not a film full of gay men fitting any fashion fade, yet - and even so - they stay engaging, vivid, close.On a fandom note, Tai-Bo is known for his work in Jackie Chan movies with Police Story being the highlight. A fascinating documentary about the diversity of Japan’s sexual identities and orientations. And by fascinating we mean a trip that would make Neo and Alice jealous. So, put your red shoes on, click the heels, and let’s take the not-straight way.These folks might’ve never been to Georgia and California but they are pretty much to themselves. They are here and they are queer and not at all ashamed. Not only they do not hide but also they do more than little to make their community members feel that they matter. They also build the places and create art thanks to which LBGTQIA+ people can enjoy being whoever they are. They raise their voices so the LGBTQIA+ people could feel included within the human society. Show more
