Práve v tom spočíva podstata festivalu IRÁN:CI – dať priestor znamenitej tvorbe umelcov, ktorí sa nesnažia zmeniť len preto, aby „zapadli“.
Pohybujú sa mimo dosahu radarov, ktoré sledujú, čo je práve „v kurze“ a čo je „dôležité“. Odvracajú sa od inštitucionalizovaného poňatia filmu a venujú sa iba takému umeniu, ktoré je absolútne úprimné voči divákom.
Rozprávajú príbehy nádeje, pochybností, lásky a zúfalstva, ktoré si sami prežili. Prehovárajú hlasom, ktorý prenikne len k tomu, kto k nim pristupuje s otvoreným srdcom. Vydajte sa medzi nich. Otvorte svoje srdcia. Vypnite radary. Vstúpte na cudzie územie. Pripojte sa k nim.

After the passing of one of the greatest directors of modern cinema, Abbas Kiarostami, on 4 July 2016, his close friend, collaborator and photographer Seifolah Samadian used 30 years of behind-the- scenes footage to create this poetic portrait – a personal, impressionist tribute to Kiarostami’s creative vision as well as his passion for life and various art forms.
